How to use the prayer journal
Type what's on your heart, pick a category, and add it. The list lives in your browser — no account, nothing sent anywhere. When God answers (yes, no, or "wait, and here's something better"), tap the circle to move the request to Answered. Over a few months, that Answered list becomes your own private psalm of remembrance.
Praying through ACTS
- Adoration — Tell God who He is. Borrow Psalm 103 or Psalm 145 if words won't come.
- Confession — Name what went wrong today, specifically. "I snapped at the kids" is more honest than "I'm a sinner." Then receive 1 John 1:9.
- Thanksgiving — Three concrete things. The nap that happened. The friend who texted.
- Supplication — Pray through your open requests, one by one. Then add yourself.
If you're new to this, our beginner's guide to prayer walks through each part with examples, and the Prayer Generator gives you words to borrow until your own arrive.
A note on unanswered prayers
Some requests will sit in the Praying list for years. That's not failure. "Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer" (Romans 12:12, NIV) assumes a long wait is normal. Read When God Feels Silent when the waiting gets heavy.
